Simone Biles Makes Desperate Plea as Fans’ Hotel Stalking Sparks Anxiety Warning

Simone Biles has asked fans to respect her personal space after saying their constant presence around her hotel makes her feel anxious.

Ahead of the 2026 Laureus World Sports Awards in Madrid, the 29-year-old gymnast shared on social media that while she appreciates her fans’ love and support, waiting outside her hotel all day crosses a boundary. She asked people to “love from afar” and give her privacy. However, she made it clear she’s still open to taking photos when she’s out in public.

Biles attended the event as an ambassador, not a nominee this year. She has already won the Laureus Sportswoman of the Year award four times, including after her success at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

At the ceremony, she stood out in a gold designer dress and also presented a Lifetime Achievement Award to Nadia Comaneci, the legendary gymnast known for scoring the first perfect 10 in Olympic history.

She also spoke about her role as a Laureus ambassador, saying sport can inspire young people, build confidence, and create opportunities.

In other news, Biles recently opened a restaurant called “Taste of Gold” at an airport in Houston, fulfilling a longtime personal dream. The café features Olympic-themed décor and serves Tex-Mex and sandwiches.

Overall, despite her success and fame, Biles highlighted the downside of celebrity life — the need for privacy and the mental pressure that can come from constant fan attention.
