As one of the main faces of LIV Golf, Bryson DeChambeau often represents the league positively, and he recently showed that again by supporting a young fan.
DeChambeau sent a motivational video message to 14-year-old golfer Vicente Lizana Gallastegui, who regularly posts videos of himself copying DeChambeau’s swing. The teenager receives a lot of criticism online, with many people telling him to stop imitating the two-time U.S. Open champion and develop his own swing.
In his message, DeChambeau encouraged Vicente to ignore negative comments, focus on improving “one percent each day,” and most importantly, have fun. He told him to do what feels comfortable and enjoyable when swinging the club.
The gesture received praise, including from fellow LIV golfer Joaquin Niemann, who called DeChambeau a “class act.”
This isn’t the first time DeChambeau has shown kindness to fans. He frequently signs autographs, takes photos, and interacts with supporters. Recently, he also partnered with Google for a video where he surprised a fan on the course and played a hole with him. Even after tough losses—such as the LIV Team Championship—he has stayed behind to thank fans and sign autographs.
Overall, DeChambeau continues to show appreciation for his supporters, both on and off the course.
