The Premier League match between Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea, which was originally slated for February 23, is now expected to be postponed, according to PA Sport journalist George Sessions. This is because the Blues have already secured a position in the Carabao Cup final.
This Friday, after their winter break, Spurs will play Manchester City in the FA Cup fourth round at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Next month is going to be quite the bust for Ange Postecoglou’s team, with fixtures coming thick and fast. Their last February match was scheduled to take place at Stamford Bridge.
The London derby will now take place on February 25 at Wembley, as Chelsea’s victory over Middlesbrough on Tuesday ensures their place in the Carabao Cup final. Mauricio Pochettino’s team will play at Wembley.

Chelsea vs. Tottenham will take place later.
The Premier League has not yet revealed a new date for Spurs’ trip to West London, but Sessions clarified that if the Lilywhites defeat Man City and advance to the following round, they might instead play in the FA Cup on the last weekend of February.

No game for Tottenham on February 23rd after Chelsea book their place in #CarabaoCup final. Means another break on the horizon for Ange Postecoglou’s team after they host Wolves on Feb 17, although could have #FACup fifth-round tie for midweek of Feb 27/28 👀 #thfc

Tottenham already faces a challenging finish to the season, so moving the match against Chelsea to April or May would not be ideal. The FA Cup run Spurs make will determine how the individual matchups are rearranged.
