Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly dismissed the idea of joining Arsenal during his time in discussions with other clubs before his 2018 move to Juventus. According to former teammate Patrice Evra, Ronaldo was interested in joining Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea but made it clear that Arsenal was never an option. Evra shared this in an interview with RMC Sport, stating that although Arsenal showed interest in the forward, Ronaldo was adamant that he would “never go to Arsenal.”
Evra highlighted that Ronaldo had considered other projects, especially PSG, but Arsenal was not part of his plans at that time. This comment adds to the ongoing discussions about Ronaldo’s career choices and his decision to eventually move to Juventus in 2018 after his successful spell at Real Madrid.
