Simone Biles distances herself from Jonathan Owens but sends him a message not to miss her

Simone Biles, although not present at the Chicago Bears’ game where they secured a decisive 35-16 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars on October 13, still found a way to celebrate her husband, Jonathan Owens. Biles, the renowned gymnast, posted a heartfelt message on her Instagram Stories, expressing her support with the phrase “Bear down baby,” showing her growing enthusiasm for Chicago football.

Throughout the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, Biles had Owens by her side as she achieved remarkable success. Now, with Owens competing in the NFL for the Chicago Bears, it’s her turn to support him. Owens, who plays as a safety, played a significant role in the Bears’ victory, helping to keep the Jaguars from scoring in critical moments and making one tackle during the game. Despite Trevor Lawrence’s efforts, the Jaguars struggled to make an impact against the Bears’ defense.

Biles couldn’t attend the game in person due to scheduling conflicts. She is currently touring the United States with her Gold Over America Tour (GOAT), celebrating her Olympic achievements. Additionally, the game between the Bears and Jaguars took place in London, as part of the NFL’s initiative to grow the sport globally, making it logistically impossible for Biles to be present.

The Bears’ win was driven by an impressive performance from their quarterback, Caleb Williams, who threw for 226 yards and four touchdowns. Williams completed 23 of 29 passes, achieving a QB Rating of 88.4 and an overall rating of 124.4. His standout performance has begun to solidify his reputation as one of the most promising quarterback prospects in the NFL.

The Bears, currently with a 4-2 record, will have a bye week next weekend, allowing them some rest before their next matchup against the Washington Commanders on Sunday, October 27. This upcoming game is highly anticipated as the Bears continue to push forward in the NFL season.
