Simone Biles’ WCC Teammate Becoming a Florida Gator Has Gymnastics Community Excited: ‘Can’t Wait to Watch You’

At the same time, new talents are emerging in the collegiate gymnastics scene. One such exciting development is the recent verbal commitment of Dulcy Caylor, a four-time USA National Team member, to the University of Florida’s gymnastics team. Caylor, who trains alongside Simone Biles and Jordan Chiles at the World Champions Centre, announced that she will be joining the Florida Gators on a full athletic scholarship.

 

Caylor made the announcement via Instagram, sharing her enthusiasm for the next chapter in her gymnastics and academic journey. She expressed gratitude to those who supported her and voiced her excitement for what lies ahead, saying, “I am so incredibly grateful for what the future holds.” Her commitment to the Florida Gators comes shortly after her first official visit to the school.

 

Caylor’s decision was met with warm congratulations from the gymnastics community. Fellow gymnasts such as Jade Carey, who is currently on the GOAT tour with Biles, congratulated her, commenting, “congratulations dulcy!!” Additionally, Kayla DiCello, who will be her teammate on the 2025 Florida Gators gymnastics roster, welcomed Caylor with the message, “my gator baby!! welcome to the family! we love you🐊💙”
