The Gold Over America Tour is showcasing gymnastics in all its brilliance to fans nationwide. However, unexpected setbacks have occurred. While Simone Biles leads her GOAT squad across multiple cities in the USA, one of her teammates had to withdraw from the tour due to an unfortunate reason.
Earlier today, September 23, two-time World Championships medalist Donnell Whittenburg announced on Instagram that he will be leaving the tour because of an injury. In his post, Whittenburg reflected on the unpredictability of life, stating, “Sometimes, life throws unexpected challenges our way. You really never know what to expect, but there’s a reason for everything.” He revealed that he was injured while performing on the tour.
