Jose Mourinho contacts Cristiano Ronaldo in attempt to sign Portuguese superstar for Fenerbahce – Paper Round

Mourinho Eyes Ronaldo Move to Fenerbahce

Jose Mourinho is reportedly working to bring Cristiano Ronaldo to Fenerbahce, according to recent reports. The 39-year-old Portuguese forward, who turns 40 in February, has expressed thoughts about retiring in the next year or two. Despite this, fans of the Turkish club are optimistic about the possibility of him concluding his illustrious career in Turkey.

Currently playing for Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League, Ronaldo’s contract is set to expire in June, and no new agreement has been reached yet. Mourinho, who manages Fenerbahce, is said to have contacted Ronaldo directly, asking if he was content at his current club and whether he would consider joining Fenerbahce if he chose to leave. Additionally, Fenerbahce’s director of football, Mario Branco, has reportedly initiated discussions with Ronaldo’s agent, Jorge Mendes. While the likelihood of this transfer remains uncertain, Fenerbahce supporters are holding onto hope.

Southampton Linked with Real Madrid Talent Endrick

Southampton are reportedly exploring a surprising move to secure Real Madrid teenager Endrick on a loan deal. The 18-year-old Brazilian, who transferred to Real Madrid from Palmeiras in a £60 million deal, has not yet started for the Spanish club. Southampton, currently at the bottom of the Premier League table, view Endrick as a key potential addition to bolster their squad.

However, the Saints face competition from Serie A’s Roma and Spanish side Real Valladolid, both of whom have also shown interest. Sources suggest that Southampton have initiated contact with Real Madrid to discuss the possibility of a loan move, but they will need to compete with other clubs vying for Endrick’s temporary signature.

Zirkzee’s Juventus Move Faces Delays

Joshua Zirkzee’s potential transfer from Manchester United to Juventus appears uncertain. The Italian club is reportedly prioritizing a move for Bayer Leverkusen striker Patrick Schick instead. Juventus are seeking reinforcements to support their attacking line, particularly following an injury to Arkadiusz Milik.

Although Zirkzee was initially seen as a winter transfer option, Juventus might postpone their pursuit of the Dutch forward until summer. The club is reportedly considering bringing in Schick on loan during the January transfer window. Despite Zirkzee’s underwhelming spell at Manchester United, he remains on Juventus’ radar as a future target.
