Sha’Carri Richardson lit up the internet last month with her cryptic “Us vs. the World” post, leaving fans wondering — was she talking about the track… or her and Christian Coleman?
At this point, the answer feels obvious. Dating rumors have been swirling since spring 2023 when they were first spotted together at a meet in Jamaica. Fast forward to the Paris Olympics — where Richardson snagged silver in the 100m and gold in the 4x100m relay — and Coleman was right there by her side.
Now, with Coleman celebrating his 29th birthday on March 6, Richardson went all out with balloons, cake, and even a pair of mysterious envelopes labeled “Card 1” and “Card 2.” It’s the kind of celebration that has “girlfriend goals” written all over it.
Coleman, clearly feeling the love, posted to Instagram with gratitude: “Last year of my twenties. Big 29. Blessings! Grateful for it all!! Thank you, God!” And while Richardson didn’t shout him out directly, she posted her signature cryptic touch — a blooming hibiscus flower with a caption about growth, new beginnings, and trusting the journey. Subtle, but fans caught the message loud and clear.
These two haven’t exactly been hiding. Back in February, Coleman shared a photo of Richardson sitting on his lap, with heart-eye emojis flying between them. Then came Super Bowl weekend, when Richardson casually called Coleman “Baby.”
By February 22, they were side by side in front of a casino, officially adopting “Us vs. the World” as their relationship mantra.
Valentine’s Day? They spent it at a Katt Williams show — with the comedian even giving Richardson a personal shoutout, much to Coleman’s delight.
At this point, the only mystery left is — when will they finally make it official?
