In the carousel post announcing the launch, Tiger Woods was shown wearing the new Heritage Icon Polo in the signature ‘Sunday Red’ color. Woods has long been associated with the color red during final tournament rounds, a tradition inspired by his mother, who believed red was his power color. One of Woods’ most memorable victories—the 2019 Masters—was achieved while he wore a red shirt, further reinforcing the color’s significance to his career. This tradition also served as the inspiration behind the naming of his apparel brand, Sun Day Red.

The caption accompanying the post invited fans to shop for the new polo by providing a link in the brand’s bio. It read:

“An icon in motion. The Heritage Icon Polo is now available in Sunday Red. Hit the link in bio to shop.”

The Heritage Icon Polo is offered in several colors on the Sun Day Red website and is currently priced at $115. According to the website, the shirt is designed as the ultimate representation of their Heritage polo collection, tailored specifically to meet Tiger Woods’ demands regarding fit, performance, and style on the golf course.

The newly launched polos were designed with Tiger Woods’ personal preferences in mind, ensuring they are as functional as they are stylish, making them suitable for both on and off the course wear.

The product summary highlights that these polos follow the Heritage Fit, allowing Woods enough flexibility to complete his backswing and downswing without feeling restricted, while avoiding excess fabric or bulk.

The website also details Tiger Woods’ specific contributions to the design:

He collaborated closely on the Heritage Fit, ensuring enough mobility without unnecessary looseness.

He provided input on the choice of breathable, moisture-wicking fabric.

He requested a three-button placket, with the buttons spaced precisely 2¼ inches apart.

He preferred a self-fabric collar designed with a particular spread for comfort and style.

He specified a stepped hem that remains tucked in during swings, bends, and crouches.

The brand also suggested other items—such as gloves, trousers, and socks—that would complement the new polo shirts, helping customers complete their golf-ready outfits.
