Fresh off his historic Masters victory completing the career Grand Slam, Rory McIlroy is back in action at the 2025 Zurich Classic of New Orleans.
Teaming up again with Shane Lowry, the duo aims to defend their title in this unique two-man team event. The format combines fourball (best ball) and foursomes (alternate shot), making it one of the most entertaining tournaments on the PGA Tour calendar.
Despite battling a cold, McIlroy said he’s eager to get back on the course and ride the momentum of his Masters win. “The Masters meant a lot, but this is a different type of fun. We’ve got great chemistry and want to go back-to-back,” Rory told reporters.
