1. Cade Klubnik’s Breakout Was Huge
Klubnik’s 3,639 yards and 36 touchdowns last season were massive. His development is probably the biggest reason the offense flipped the switch. If he takes another step forward, Clemson’s passing game could be top-tier.
2. WR Room Is STACKED
Antonio Williams is the obvious breakout candidate for 1,000+ yards, but the depth is ridiculous:
Bryant Wesco Jr. bulking up is a good sign for physicality and red zone presence.
T.J. Moore could easily go off in Year 2.
Tyler Brown, when healthy, adds explosive ability.
Transfer Tristan Smith just had a huge spring game.
Dabo might actually not want a 1,000-yard guy if it means spreading it around and making defenses guess all game.
3. Playoff Predictions? Mixed Bag
Being ranked No. 3 by Brandon Marcello is no joke—it shows Clemson is getting national respect again. But that projected quarterfinal loss to Notre Dame? That’s got to sting. If the Tigers fall short in the CFP again, the “close but not quite” label might stick.
4. LSU Opener = Tone-Setter
Starting against LSU gives Clemson a real chance to make a statement. If they win that one, the buzz will skyrocket.
My Take?
Clemson’s got the firepower. The defense should still be elite. If Klubnik keeps climbing and at least one receiver pops for 1,000+, I think they can roar back to glory. But Dabo’s crew has to prove they can finish strong when it counts.
