Kelly Clarkson Delivers Blunt Reality Check to Jerry Jones Over Cowboys’ Playoff Struggles

Longtime Dallas Cowboys fan Kelly Clarkson has grown frustrated with the team’s 30-year drought from the NFC Championship game.

After making the playoffs from 2021 to 2023, the Cowboys missed out this past season, finishing with a disappointing 7-10 record.

During an appearance on the Not Gonna Lie podcast with Kylie Kelce, Clarkson didn’t hold back her feelings about Cowboys owner Jerry Jones. She called out his repeated claims that “next season” will finally be the one to bring the team back to glory.

Clarkson recalled reading a recent statement from Jones saying, “Now is the time.” She sarcastically pointed out how similar that sounded to past promises, saying, “Oh, okay. This ‘now’ must be different from the last ‘now,’ which was also supposed to be the time.”

Despite her frustration, Clarkson admitted she still holds onto hope for the team, even while acknowledging that much of the NFL enjoys seeing the Cowboys struggle.
