Spring football has officially begun with the UFL’s kickoff on Friday, bringing opportunities for players aiming to revive their professional careers. As the games continued into Saturday, several former Pittsburgh Steelers stood out with impressive performances.
Among them is a running back for the Arlington Renegades, who is striving to make his way back to the NFL. He serves as the team’s primary ball carrier and made a significant impact in their season opener against the San Antonio Brahmas. During the game, he delivered a historic moment by recording a 77-yard touchdown run—the longest in UFL history. Breaking through defenders and accelerating past everyone on the field, he showcased his speed and determination.

A former fourth-round selection in the 2018 NFL Draft out of Arizona State, he began his professional career with the Miami Dolphins. However, consistent success proved elusive, leading to his release in 2020. Following that, he had brief stints with both the Los Angeles Chargers and the New York Jets.
He later signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers, where he played throughout an entire season, primarily contributing on special teams and as a reserve running back. Despite multiple workouts with NFL teams afterward, he has yet to secure another opportunity at that level.
In 2023, he played for the Brahmas before stepping away from the game in 2024. Now back in the spring football scene, he is determined to make the most of his opportunity with the Renegades, hoping it will lead to another shot in the NFL.
