In the Moise Kean hunt, Chelsea’s rivals Arsenal, Aston Villa, and Tottenham

Chelsea are among several Premier League clubs monitoring Fiorentina striker Moise Kean ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window. Alongside Chelsea, Arsenal, Aston Villa, and Tottenham Hotspur are also expressing interest in securing the Italian forward’s services.

Reports indicate that Kean has drawn significant attention from top English clubs, largely due to his impressive performances for Fiorentina this season. The 24-year-old striker has played a pivotal role in his team’s push for a top-four finish in Serie A. He has showcased his goal-scoring ability by netting 20 times across all competitions and recently made an impact on the international stage by scoring twice for Italy in a match against Germany.

With his €52 million release clause in place, clubs are assessing the feasibility of making a move for him this summer. Initially, this release clause seemed steep in comparison to his market value, but his outstanding goal-scoring form has now justified the price tag, making him an attractive prospect for Premier League clubs. Chelsea, in particular, are actively seeking a striker to strengthen their attack, with links to other options such as Victor Boniface also emerging.

Given their need for reinforcements up front, Chelsea may seriously consider triggering Kean’s release clause. However, they are not alone in their pursuit, as Arsenal have also been evaluating the possibility of signing him. Despite their interest, the Gunners have multiple targets in mind, including Alexander Isak and Benjamin Sesko, making it uncertain whether Kean will be their primary choice.

Fiorentina are aware of the growing interest in their star forward and may attempt to renegotiate his contract in order to either eliminate the release clause or increase its value. Despite this, Kean may be open to returning to the Premier League, having previously spent a season with Everton. His prior stint in English football was not particularly successful, but he could see this as an opportunity for redemption.

Aston Villa could also be a suitable destination for Kean, as their manager, Unai Emery, is still in search of a replacement for Jhon Duran. Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly discussed Kean internally as a potential addition to their squad, considering him as a viable competitor for the central striker position.

With multiple Premier League teams vying for his signature, Kean’s future remains uncertain. Whether Fiorentina successfully retains him or he makes a return to England will depend on the offers presented to both the player and his current club during the summer transfer window.
