The Ohio State Buckeyes kicked off their spring practice this week, with quarterbacks Tavien St. Clair and Julian Sayin taking the spotlight as they look to step up after the departure of Will Howard. Howard, who had an outstanding four-game stretch in the College Football Playoffs, left fans wondering if he could continue his success at the professional level.

Under the guidance of head coach Ryan Day, a former college quarterback known for his expertise in the passing game, Howard had one of his best seasons. On Wednesday, footage surfaced showing Day showcasing his own football skills during practice. As media filmed, Day was seen throwing precise back shoulder spirals, demonstrating his sharp accuracy and quarterback skills, much to the admiration of players and others watching.

Day, who set high school records at Manchester Central High School in New Hampshire, threw for over 4,000 career yards, leading his team to a state championship and winning the Gatorade High School Player of the Year Award. His best season came as a sophomore when he threw for more than 2,700 yards and 18 touchdowns.

This spring, Day is working with two former five-star quarterback recruits, Sayin and St. Clair, which gives Ohio State a promising outlook as they search for a new leader on offense.
