According to reports, the Dolphins were informed that their second compensatory pick has been reassigned to the New Orleans Saints. The change has also impacted two other teams, as the Cleveland Browns and the Los Angeles Chargers will each have their draft picks moved back by one spot.

The first round of the 2025 NFL Draft is scheduled for April 24, followed by rounds two and three on April 25. The final four rounds will take place on April 26. This year’s draft will be hosted in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Despite the loss of the compensatory pick, the Dolphins still hold the 13th overall selection in the first round. Their additional picks include selections at 48th, 98th, 116th, 135th, 150th, 155th, 224th, 231st, and 255th overall.

At the top of the draft, the Tennessee Titans currently hold the first overall pick, with the Cleveland Browns and New York Giants following in the second and third spots, respectively. Reports suggest that the Titans might be open to trading their top selection.

Several prospects are generating interest as potential top picks. Cam Ward is currently viewed as a frontrunner for the No. 1 selection, while players such as Travis Hunter, Shedeur Sanders, Abdul Carter, and Mason Graham are also receiving considerable attention.

Meanwhile, the Dolphins recently made two roster moves. The team signed running back Alexander Mattison, who previously played for the Las Vegas Raiders. The 26-year-old has agreed to a one-year deal with Miami. Additionally, the Dolphins re-signed offensive lineman Liam Eichenberg to a one-year contract extension.
