Major UGA Football Targets Rave About Spring Practice Visit

Georgia Bulldogs Impress Top 2026 Wide Receiver Prospects During Spring Practice Visits

ATHENS – Georgia’s spring practice has drawn some of the most sought-after recruits in the 2026 class, as key wide receiver targets made their way to Athens this week to observe the Bulldogs in action. The high-energy practice sessions left a lasting impression on these prospects, showcasing Georgia’s commitment to excellence and development.

Ryan Mosley: A Lifelong Connection to Georgia

One of the most familiar names for Georgia fans is four-star athlete Ryan Mosley from Carrollton, GA. A longtime target for the Bulldogs, Mosley was back on campus Tuesday and shared his thoughts on what he witnessed.

“Watching practice showed me you better go out there with everything you’ve got in you,” Mosley said. “They all push each other to be better. Georgia’s special because since I was a little boy, I’ve always loved Georgia, and to get the opportunity to play with them is a huge blessing.”

The 6-foot-2, 205-pound playmaker had an outstanding junior season, recording 55 receptions for 848 yards and a team-high 12 touchdowns. He currently ranks as the No. 11 athlete and No. 217 overall prospect in the nation.

Kavon Conciauro: A Rising In-State Star

Another Georgia standout making waves is Houston County (GA) wide receiver Kavon Conciauro, who visited Athens on Thursday alongside teammate and highly touted defensive back prospect Jordan Smith.

Reflecting on the practice, Conciauro emphasized the program’s high standards.

“I learned the way things are run and the level of execution that is expected,” he said. “My biggest takeaway was how players took criticism and applied it positively. Georgia develops guys, puts their players in the best positions to succeed, and maintains a standard that builds you on and off the field.”

Receiving an offer from Georgia in mid-January was a defining moment for Conciauro.

“Being a kid who’s born and raised in Georgia, it was a childhood dream come true! I know UGA is one of the most consistent and stable programs in the country, producing some of the best talent every year.”

Though currently unranked by major recruiting services, Conciauro is expected to be ranked No. 51 overall in Georgia by Dawg Post.

Corey Barber: Alabama Playmaker Sees Elite Coaching in Athens

From neighboring Alabama, Spain Park’s Corey Barber made the trip to Athens and came away highly impressed with the Bulldogs’ approach to practice and player development.

“What I learned from watching practice today was that Coach Kirby Smart is about business,” Barber said. “He does not play games. He’s a great coach, and his entire coaching staff matches his energy.”

Barber, a 6-foot-1, 180-pound receiver, had a standout season in 2023, hauling in 73 catches for 1,424 yards and 17 touchdowns over 13 games. He noted that Georgia’s elite coaching staff and offensive schemes stood out the most.

“My biggest takeaway was just that the coaching is elite. If you want to be great and you aren’t afraid to be pushed and tested, Athens is one of those places to develop you. I also like their offense and how they create opportunities for their receivers. They have a great mix of everything—top facilities, elite coaching, and a winning pedigree.”

Barber currently holds the No. 52 wide receiver and No. 306 overall prospect ranking in the country.

Bulldogs Setting the Tone for 2026

Georgia’s ability to attract and impress top-tier talent this early in the recruiting process highlights the program’s continued dominance. With high-caliber recruits like Mosley, Conciauro, and Barber taking note of Georgia’s player development, coaching intensity, and championship culture, the Bulldogs remain in prime position to secure some of the nation’s best talent for the 2026 class.
