Team Canada defeated Team USA 3-2 in overtime at TD Garden in Boston in an exciting final to the 4 Nations Face-Off event. During the sudden-death overtime period, Mitch Marner assisted Connor McDavid in scoring the game-winning goal. With this win, Canada continued their 15-year dominance in best-on-best international hockey events and won their first 4 Nations Face-Off title.
