According to him, winning this tournament is an impressive achievement due to the sheer quality of the participating teams.
He called on World Rugby to take note of the Coral Coast Sevens, stating that the tournament embodies the spirit of rugby sevens and represents what the sport is all about. He strongly advocated for Fiji to host a World Rugby Sevens Series event, believing the nation’s deep-rooted connection to the sport and its ability to deliver world-class rugby merit inclusion on the global calendar.
His comments highlighted Fiji’s significant contributions to rugby sevens and the potential for the country to host an international event that could further elevate the sport’s profile.
