16-year-old Hezly Rivera reveals her best Paris Olympics moment with Simone Biles and other Team USA gymnasts

Olympic gymnast Hezly Rivera recently reflected on her memorable moments from the Paris Olympics through a Q&A session with her followers on Instagram. When asked about her best experience at the event, the 16-year-old shared a photo from the team celebrations after the USA won the gold medal in the women’s artistic gymnastics team all-around competition.

 

Rivera shared other details about her Paris Olympics journey, including her favorite food and gymnastics event. She also expressed her determination to excel at the Los Angeles Olympics, set for July 2028.

 

The youngest gymnast on Team USA, Rivera participated in the qualification round, contributing to the team’s gold medal victory. Although she didn’t compete in the finals, her contributions were critical to the overall success of the team.

 

Looking back at her debut Olympic campaign, Rivera described it as a stepping stone toward a bright future. In a recent interview, she shared her plans for the upcoming seasons, mentioning events like the Classics and Winter Cup. She emphasized taking things one step at a time and being mindful of her readiness for each event.

 

Rivera’s long-term goals include competing in the World Championships from 2025 to 2027 and preparing for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. She explained her strategy of setting small, daily and monthly goals to achieve her broader aspirations.
