Bogisa confident in team

Lasaro Bogisa, a member of Fiji’s Men’s 7s development squad, has expressed optimism about the team’s readiness as they prepare to compete in the Oceania 7s tournament.

Bogisa commended the young players in the squad, highlighting their dedication and effort over recent weeks as they vied for positions on the team. He noted that their hard work has paid off, and the squad is now well-prepared to face the challenges of the tournament with resilience and determination.

 

“There are plenty of young boys and young talents,” Bogisa remarked. “They’ve been competing for every spot over the past weeks, and their performance has been outstanding.”

 

As the tournament begins, Bogisa stressed the significance of support from fans, which he believes will motivate the players further.

 

The Men’s Development team is set to play Nauru at 12:24 pm and Tuvalu at 8:16 pm today. Meanwhile, the Women’s Development squad will take on Vanuatu at 10:44 am and the Solomon Islands at 6:04 pm.

 

The 2024 Oceania Sevens tournament promises to showcase high-level competition as teams from across the region compete for glory.
