URC Team of the Week for Round Seven

15. Aphelele Fassi (Sharks): Known for his speed and skill, Fassi’s regular involvement with the Springboks appears to have elevated his club-level game. His performance against the Stormers was outstanding, characterized by his threat with ball in hand and reliability under the high ball. He narrowly edged out competitors such as Jimmy O’Brien (Leinster), Wes Goosen (Edinburgh), and Cam Winnett (Cardiff).

Moodie was selected ahead of notable players like Ethan Hooker (Sharks), Jordan Larmour (Leinster), and Darcy Graham (Edinburgh).

13. Ben Carson (Ulster): Although Ulster narrowly lost, Carson made a strong case for his inclusion with two tries and powerful ball-carrying efforts. His contributions surpassed those of Henco van Wyk (Lions), who scored a spectacular try, and Owen Watkin (Ospreys), who excelled defensively.
