U.S. Olympic Star Simone Biles Announces New Career Move

On Wednesday night, Simone Biles, the renowned gymnast from the United States, attended the Country Music Awards, making a notable appearance. She debuted a fresh new look that caught everyone’s attention and later took the stage to announce the finalists for one of the evening’s awards. This marks the first of two scheduled television appearances for Biles within the week.

According to a report, the seven-time Olympic gold medalist is taking on a new role in television. She will be collaborating with Snoop Dogg as a mentor on NBC’s The Voice. The episode featuring their partnership is set to air on Monday.

Reflecting on her experience, Biles expressed her enthusiasm, noting how seamlessly she and Snoop Dogg worked together. “We were able to riff off each other and give the artists the best insight going into the next round,” she shared. Describing their dynamic, she explained that both she and Snoop are typically laid-back but know how to elevate their energy when necessary. Their focus was on building the confidence of the contestants as they prepared for the next phase of the competition.

Biles also elaborated on the mentoring process, emphasizing the importance of learning and refining one’s craft. She noted that while the participants have undeniable vocal talent, success involves understanding their strengths, selecting the right songs and genres, and envisioning the legacy they want to leave behind. Biles praised the unique format of The Voice, where contestants are initially judged solely on their vocal abilities rather than their physical appearance.

Snoop Dogg, for his part, highlighted Biles’ experience performing under immense pressure and praised her ability to excel in high-stakes environments. “We have the best experience and knowledge to give to these performers,” he stated. He acknowledged that both he and Biles understand what it means to perform under intense conditions, drawing from their own experiences to provide genuine advice and reassurance to the contestants.
