Annoyed Simone Biles Fans Confess True Feelings About Gymnast’s Latest Collab with Snoop Dogg: ‘Actually Feel Bad’

Simone Biles, widely regarded as the greatest gymnast of all time with seven Olympic gold medals, has recently taken on a new role that has sparked widespread discussion. Known for her ability to perform under intense pressure and consistently deliver world-class performances, Biles is now bringing her expertise to an unexpected arena: the music competition show The Voice. However, her involvement has received mixed reactions from fans.

At the 2024 Paris Olympics, rapper and cultural icon Snoop Dogg served as NBC’s special correspondent, making a memorable impact during the event. Now, Snoop has brought Biles on board as a “Playoff Advisor” for his team on Season 26 of The Voice. This collaboration was announced via an Instagram post by NBC’s The Voice, which read, “Welcome Simone Biles to #TheVoice as Team Snoop’s Playoff Advisor.”

While NBC and the show’s producers are excited about the addition, fans are questioning whether Biles is the right fit for the role. In an article dated November 21, NBC emphasized how Biles’ experience with overcoming challenges and pursuing excellence could offer invaluable insights to the contestants. Biles herself expressed enthusiasm about working with Snoop Dogg and helping the artists stay composed during the competition. “We were able to riff off each other and give the artists the best insight going into the next round,” she stated. Snoop Dogg echoed her sentiments, saying, “She’s a performer. I’m a performer. We’ve performed under extreme conditions. We always do our best. But sometimes things happen behind closed doors that you don’t know about.”

Despite the positive framing, many fans have expressed skepticism. While they acknowledge Biles’ unparalleled accomplishments in gymnastics, they question her ability to provide meaningful advice to aspiring singers. Some fans argued that contestants would benefit more from a mentor with direct experience in the music industry. Comments such as “I love her, but I’m baffled?” and “Why???? She’s not a singer!!!!” reflect the confusion among the audience.

Others voiced concerns that this decision could disadvantage Team Snoop in the competition. One fan remarked, “I actually feel bad for the contestants on this team… they are getting zero credible musical advice.” Another added, “This is a singing show, not a gymnastics show,” suggesting that a music professional would have been a more logical choice for the role.

While some viewers appreciate Biles’ inspiring presence and unique perspective on handling pressure, the general consensus among critics is that mentoring on a singing show should be left to those with expertise in the field. Whether this unconventional collaboration will benefit the contestants remains to be seen, as fans eagerly await the upcoming episode to witness Biles’ impact on Team Snoop.
