Terry Bradshaw Offends With $50M Talk Show Host to Launch Attack on 114 Century Old British Food

Terry Bradshaw stirred up quite a controversy on The Kelly Clarkson Show with his outspoken take on an ancient culinary favorite: pie. With roots tracing back to 9700 BC, pies are one of the world’s oldest foods, but that didn’t stop Bradshaw from expressing his strong, somewhat surprising opinion. The former quarterback sparked a humorous uproar after dismissing the idea of savory meat pies with an emphatic “Meat? Ugh,” just as Australian chef and actor Curtis Stone eagerly described his love for traditional British meat pies while promoting his new venture, The Pie Room.

The mood in the studio grew tense. Host Kelly Clarkson jumped in, attempting to lighten things up by clarifying, “It’s just pot pie!” Even actress Shanola Hampton joined the rescue, gently teasing, “Uncle Terry, it’s just pot pie!” But Bradshaw was unbending, making it clear that when it comes to pies, his loyalty lies with fruit, proudly proclaiming, “I like peaches.” This simple preference became his “touchdown” moment of the conversation, as he staked his stance on pie choices with all the enthusiasm of a Super Bowl celebration.

Adding a twist, Clarkson shared a story about actress Zendaya, who had also voiced her dislike for pies, saying, “I’m not a pie guy,” which left Bradshaw even more perplexed. Zendaya went on to say, “I just feel like people can mess cake up a lot,” and Clarkson responded passionately with, “At the end of the day, a pie is like giving someone a big hug,” while Bradshaw humorously held his ground. The spirited exchange filled the studio with laughter, proving that debates over food can be as intense as any on the football field.

As the discussion on pies wound down, attention shifted to a recurring question: will Bradshaw retire soon? Known for his witty and warm personality, Bradshaw addressed the rumors with a smile, sharing his enjoyment of working on FOX NFL Sunday. Since 1994, he’s been adding a unique blend of football expertise and humor to the show, and even today, he’s eager to keep going. Reflecting on his long tenure, he praised his colleagues, calling them “brothers” and describing their time together as an absolute “hoot.” For now, Bradshaw seems content to continue, showing the same passion for football and fun that has defined his legendary career for decades.
