According to Dan Orlovsky, Deion Sanders would not be happy if his son, Colorado’s standout quarterback Shedeur Sanders, were selected by the Carolina Panthers or Cleveland Browns. Orlovsky really calculated the probability to be zero.
Orlovsky tweeted, “There is a 0% chance Deion let’s Shedeur get drafted by Cleveland,” in response to a 2025 NFL draft graphic that predicted Shedeur will be selected by the Browns at number two. “Cleveland/Carolina will not happen.”
Shedeur’s play has virtually guaranteed him a spot in the top ten of the NFL selection. Although his interceptions have already risen from the previous season, scouts will be greatly influenced by the win number. Winning has a huge impact on a quarterback’s draft stock.

DL with the Las Vegas Raiders Next season, Maxx Crosby hopes to have Shedeur or Cam Ward under center in Sin City. He offered to feature them on his podcast, The Rush, and referred to them as the coldest.
“He [Cam Ward] could be the top pick. Crosby stated, “It’s between him and Shedeur [Sanders]” (h/t On SI). “Those two are the coldest, hands down. They work out together. What Colorado is doing appeals to me. They’re preparing food. Miami is also preparing. After the season, they must appear on our show and bid on why they ought to be the first quarterback selected.
