Simone Biles sends a strong message to address the rumors about a student loan controversy

Simone Biles is undeniably one of the all-time greats in Olympic history and stands as a transcendent figure in global sports. Often mentioned in discussions of the greatest athletes, Biles has cemented her place as one of the most decorated gymnasts ever. Her individual brilliance was on full display at the 2024 Paris Olympics, where she extended her record, earning a total of 11 Olympic medals at the age of 27.

However, despite her accolades, Biles has not escaped controversy. Recently, she faced criticism from conservative actress Roseanne Barr, who accused her of receiving $44,000 in student loan forgiveness. This sparked widespread debate on social media, with many questioning why someone with a reported net worth of over $14 million would benefit from taxpayer funds intended to assist those in need.

Biles responded directly to these allegations, using social media to clear the air, stating, “Y’all really need to stop believing everything you read on the internet.”

In addition to her accomplishments, Biles continues to thrill fans with her involvement in the Gold Over America Tour (GOAT). Alongside fellow gymnasts like Jordan Chiles and Hezly Rivera, she is taking part in a spectacular show, blending gymnastics and pop concert-style entertainment. The tour will make a stop at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio, on October 27.

Fans of Biles can also watch “Simone Biles Rising Part 2,” a mini-series streaming on Netflix. The series chronicles her journey to rebuild both her physical skills and mental strength as she prepared for her return to the Olympic stage in Paris 2024.
