WATCH: Prince Harry’s surfing skills in viral video stuns fans

Prince Harry recently displayed his impressive surfing skills in a viral video that has captivated fans worldwide. The footage, shared on Instagram by professional surfer Raimana Van Bastolaer, shows the Duke of Sussex being towed by a jet ski before seamlessly transitioning onto his surfboard and riding a wave. An instructor can be seen cheering him on in the video, which was filmed at Kelly Slater’s Surf Ranch in Lemoore, California.

Bastolaer, known for his expertise in surfing large waves in Tahiti, expressed admiration for Harry in the caption, referring to him as “Prince Harry” in Tahiti but “my brother” at the Surf Ranch. He also noted that it was an honor to surf alongside both Harry and Slater.

Fans of Prince Harry have taken to social media, particularly X (formerly Twitter), to celebrate his enthusiasm and skill in surfing. One fan commented that they were thrilled to see him “living his best life” in California, while another expressed admiration for his versatility, calling him a “true Californian.” Some fans even joked about rumors of Harry returning to the UK, suggesting he had fully embraced his new lifestyle in the U.S.

The article also notes that Prince Harry is not the only royal to enjoy water sports. His brother, Prince William, was known for his love of surfing during his time at St. Andrews University, and their father, King Charles III, also had a history with water activities. In his younger years, King Charles was a keen windsurfer and made headlines in 1977 for surfing at Bondi Beach in Australia. He even became the patron of the British Surfing Association a year later and invited the national surfing team to Buckingham Palace before they competed in South Africa.
