MLB legend José Canseco participated in the “Going Yard Home Run Derby” in Sugar Land, Texas, on Saturday, accompanied by his daughter Josie Canseco. The event featured several famous 1990s baseball players like Andruw Jones, Rafael Palmeiro, and Canseco, along with athletes from other sports and celebrities.
Josie posted a video on her Instagram story showcasing her father hitting a powerful fly ball to left field. She captioned the post with “Still got it,” reflecting on his impressive performance. The father-daughter duo was also joined by Josie’s dog, Ronald, who accompanied them to the event. Josie shared photos of her dog on the field, captioning one with “My whole heart 🫶.”
Josie Canseco, who moved to New York early on to pursue modeling, rose to prominence in 2018 after appearing in the Victoria’s Secret fashion show. She currently has over 1.2 million followers on Instagram. Aside from modeling, she has worked with major brands such as Sports Illustrated, Armani, and Netflix. Josie is also dedicated to animal welfare, having volunteered at shelters and followed a meatless diet for the past six years. Recently, she was named an ambassador for “I Stand With My Pack,” a nonprofit organization that helps rehabilitate animals.
