Simone Biles Bold Move Revealed by Musician Pal That Left Gymnast’s Mother “Pis**d”

2016 marked a pivotal year for Simone Biles, not only for her incredible achievements at the Rio Olympics but also for her unexpected foray into the world of music videos. After securing multiple medals in Rio, Biles went viral in a video where she and her roommate Laurie Hernandez danced to Jake Miller’s song “Overnight.

” The viral video caught the attention of Jake Miller himself, who reached out to congratulate Biles on her Olympic success. He also extended an invitation for her to appear in his upcoming music video for “Overnight” in Los Angeles, and she eagerly accepted.

Biles and her mother, Nellie, flew to LA for the video shoot, which became a huge hit online, further solidifying her presence beyond the gymnastics world. Through this collaboration, Biles and Miller struck up a friendship.

Miller later reminisced about their bond, recalling how they became close during the Olympics and stayed in touch afterward. At one point, when Biles was living near him during her stint on “Dancing with the Stars,” Miller took her to get her first tattoo—the iconic Olympic rings.

This decision, however, didn’t sit well with Nellie Biles. Miller recalled taking Simone to a tattoo parlor on Melrose Avenue, where she got the Olympic rings inked on her hand, a symbol of her victories in Rio. While Biles was thrilled, her mother was reportedly not happy with the spontaneous decision. Miller fondly remembered capturing the first photo of Biles flaunting her new tattoo and noted that despite Nellie’s initial disapproval, the experience was “awesome.”

Since then, Biles has developed a deeper love for tattoos, adding several meaningful pieces to her collection. She now proudly sports various tattoos, including a mini butterfly on her hand, matching tattoos with her husband Jonathan Owens, and inscriptions like “Golden” and “And Still I Rise.” Two of her more recent tattoos include a small ‘J’ on her ring finger, symbolizing her bond with Owens, and another on the back of her neck that reads “Made in Heaven,” also dedicated to him.

Simone Biles’ tattoos carry deep sentimental value, particularly those connected to her relationship with Owens. He, too, has an ‘S’ tattooed on his ring finger, signifying their close connection even when he isn’t wearing his wedding ring during NFL games. Biles continues to support Owens, often attending his games, most recently showing her support during a matchup between the Chicago Bears and the Los Angeles Rams.
