- Simone Biles recently experienced a heartwarming moment during her Gold Over America Tour when her husband, NFL player Jonathan Owens, surprised her with a visit. Owens, who plays for the Chicago Bears, showed up during her gymnastics tour to support her, much to Simone’s delight. She shared the touching moment on Instagram, posting a video of the two holding hands backstage, as well as a picture of Owens presenting her with a bouquet of 26 roses arranged in a heart shape.
Owens didn’t stop there—he even joined in on some of the tour’s dance choreography alongside Simone and her fellow gymnasts, making the event even more special. The Gold Over America Tour, which features both men’s and women’s gymnastics, includes stars like Jordan Chiles, Jade Carey, Hezly Rivera, Fred Richard, and Brody Malone. The tour, which kicked off in California on September 16, 2024, is scheduled to visit 30 cities across the U.S.
Simone expressed her excitement about showcasing both men’s and women’s gymnastics on the same stage, a concept she has been passionate about for years. Both Biles and Owens have been incredibly supportive of each other’s careers.
