Not a Good Sign for Tennis’ – Carlos Alcaraz Strongly Defends ‘Innocent’ Jannik Sinner Amid WADA’s Shocking Twist in Doping Saga

Jannik Sinner’s career has taken a surprising turn following his recent victories at the Cincinnati Masters and the US Open. The Italian tennis star now finds himself entangled in a renewed doping controversy. The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), seeking a lengthy ban, despite the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) previously clearing Sinner of all charges.

This unexpected move has sparked debate within the tennis community. Many have voiced their opinions, including Carlos Alcaraz. As Alcaraz prepared to face Karen Khachanov in the China Open quarterfinals, he was asked about his thoughts on Sinner’s situation.

Alcaraz commented, “It’s really sensitive, both for Jannik and tennis in general. I thought everything was resolved before Cincinnati when the ITIA cleared him. Now it’s reopened, and I don’t know what will happen in the coming months. For sure, it’s not a good sign for tennis.”
