“Control the Narrative”: Simone Biles’ Husband Jonathan Owens Reveals Dealing With Fame

Living in the public eye can be challenging, and Simone Biles knows this well. Whether she’s dazzling audiences with her athletic performances or going about her daily life, fans are always eager to know what she’s up to. With the Gold Over America Tour on the horizon, the excitement surrounding her continues to build. While Biles has received much praise for her documentary, her husband, Jonathan Owens, found himself less at ease in front of the camera during his time on the show *Hard Knocks*.

Recently, Owens, a safety for the Chicago Bears, shared his experience on *Hard Knocks* during an episode of *Intercepted with Kevin Byard.* The reality sports series, which started in 2001, gives fans an inside look at NFL teams during their training camps. This season focused on the Chicago Bears, prompting Byard to ask Owens about his experience on the show. Owens admitted it was a bit awkward at first but appreciated the opportunity to provide a genuine glimpse into his life. He emphasized the importance of being authentic, as many people are curious about his daily routine and conversations. Despite the initial discomfort, Owens expressed that he felt honored to be featured.

Reflecting on his journey, Owens called this experience a “full-circle moment,” reminiscing about how he used to watch *Hard Knocks* growing up. He described the thrill of telling his friends about being on the show, acknowledging the surreal nature of the experience. However, Owens admitted that staying genuine in front of the cameras took some time to get used to.

The show’s crew even followed Owens as he packed for his trip to Paris to support Biles during her third Olympic appearance, giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at his personal life. Despite their efforts to see each other, the couple has faced challenges due to their busy schedules.

Owens and Biles’s hectic lives have kept them apart recently. During an episode of *Sippin’ with Screeden,* Owens discussed his upcoming game with the Houston Texans and confirmed that Biles would not be able to attend due to her tour commitments. However, they are looking forward to a reunion on September 29 when the tour stops in Chicago. Biles plans to be at the game, and Owens will watch her perform at the United Center later that evening.

Despite the challenges of managing their public and professional lives, the couple continues to support each other in their respective careers. Fans remain captivated by their story and eagerly await updates on their journey.
