All Times Simone Biles Forced to Miss Jonathan Owens’ NFL Games Due to Gold Over America Tour Commitment

Simone Biles has established herself as a gymnastics legend, with 11 Olympic medals and iconic moves like the Yurchenko Double Pike in her repertoire. However, she can’t be everywhere at once. Recently, Biles had to miss her husband Jonathan Owens’s football games, particularly during a recent matchup where Owens’s team faced Biles’s favorite, the Houston Texans. Although her absence settled the dilemma of which team to support, this may not always be the case in future games.

Biles is currently on the Gold Over America Tour, which kicked off on September 16 in Oceanside, California. With her tour commitments, she was unable to travel to Houston to support Owens. This marks the beginning of a series of scheduling conflicts for the couple. Biles has upcoming shows in San Jose on September 21, Salt Lake City on September 23, and Sunrise, Florida, on October 6, while Owens’s games often happen in different cities, such as the Chicago Bears facing off against the Indianapolis Colts on September 22. Despite the logistical challenges, there is hope for a brief reunion on September 29, when the Chicago Bears play the Los Angeles Rams at Soldier Field, just five miles away from Biles’s performance venue.

Balancing her tour and personal life has proven difficult. On August 19, Biles expressed to fans that attending every one of Owens’s games until November 3 would be nearly impossible due to her packed schedule. She revealed that the tour includes about 32 stops, requiring her full attention and dedication to rehearsals and performances. Yet, fans hope for moments when the couple can support each other.

While Biles has her hands full with the tour, Owens continues to navigate his football career. The couple remains in the spotlight, with fans eagerly awaiting any chance of seeing them cheer for each other amidst their busy lives.
