The Flying Fijians are currently experiencing a wonderful time in Japan and are eagerly looking forward to an exciting clash against the USA in the Pacific Nations Cup semi-final later tonight.
Head Coach Mick Byrne expressed that the team’s preparation has been flawless, ensuring they are ready to give their best performance in the upcoming match. Byrne noted that the team has no complaints and is thoroughly enjoying their stay in Japan, especially due to the warm and welcoming hospitality they have received.
“The hospitality here in Japan is top-notch as always. Our camp is peaceful and full of happiness off the field. The players are enjoying themselves, and the respect they receive from the Japanese people is making things a lot easier for us,” Byrne remarked.
He further mentioned that the team is in an excellent mental and physical state and is eagerly anticipating the chance to take on the USA, a match-up that hasn’t happened in the last ten years.
