Jimmy Fallon mocked Simone Biles while congratulating the men’s team on their victory in the Paris Olympics.

Simone Biles in a chat show? The combo certainly appears to be wonderful! Especially in a post-Olympics scenario, when another of her gymnastics tours is only an arms length away. There is so much that the world requires her to shed light on! But what happens when events take an unexpected turn, causing the 11-time Olympic medallist to be caught off guard?

Biles was the centre of attention when she appeared on Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show. The gymnast, dressed in a brown coat and a goat necklace, appeared confident from the start, despite being bombarded with questions. When Fallon asked her to say a few words about her impending Gold Over America Tour, her response prompted the host to make fun of her.

Biles described her upcoming tour as a “gymnastics spectacle of the Olympians.” She then goes on to explain how worldwide elites are joining them. And adds, “We had the boys on our tour this time, and they actually medaled, so congratulations to them!” Fallon busts out laughing and teases her, adding, “That’s not a dig.” While Biles chucked and clarified, “No, that’s fantastic!”

As Fallon mocked Biles’ quip about the males ‘finally medaling,’ it appeared that the GOAT’s remarks had inadvertently sounded like shade. However, she quickly emphasised, “No, that’s excellent. “First time since 2008, right?” To which Fallon responds, “Yes, we are expressing our happiness for them!” Simone Biles immediately agreed, saying, “Yes, sure.”

However, Fallon continued to make this a comical occasion. After doing a brief dramatic piece, he acts out a slow clap rendition adding, “The finally medaled, We’re fine.” This makes Biles giggle. However, she immediately declares, “They are going to kill me!” But Fallon reassured her, “No, no! This could be fun!” However, when she sat down with Fallon, it wasn’t all about having fun. Simone Biles did answer some essential questions, such as what to expect from the second installment of her upcoming documentary, Simone Biles Rising Part 2.

Simone Biles gives an early peek into her new Netflix show.

Part 1 of Simone Biles Rising is presently available and premiered on Netflix on July 17. However, the second edition will be released on October 25. Before that, Biles gives the audience a preview of it on The Tonight Show. She defines part 2 as covering the lead-up to the Paris Olympics, the major event, and what transpired thereafter. As a result, it would provide a “in-depth insight” into her experience at the 2024 Summer Games.

What are your thoughts on Jimmy Fallon’s joke regarding Simone Biles? Did it go too far, or was it all in good fun?

She adds how these folks don’t truly get and appreciate everything that goes into it. As a result, the second season of Simone Biles Rising will provide them with an excellent opportunity to observe the same. It would almost feel like an intimate experience for the viewers while they watched the series. Following this, a small clip from the same is shown on the broadcast. It featured Simone Biles from the 2013 World Championships as she reflected on her gymnastics journey. Do you believe the second edition will be more successful than the first one?
