Simone Biles’ Olympic victory lap continued at the US Open on Wednesday night.
The 11-time Olympic medallist gymnast witnessed Jessica Pegula’s quarterfinal victory over world No. 1 Iga Swiatek at Arthur Ashe Stadium, following her impressive performance at the Paris Games.
Biles, 27, grinned and waved to fans as teammate Olympian Pegula advanced to the semifinals by defeating Poland’s Swiatek in two sets, 6-2, 6-4.
Biles has been keeping busy stateside since returning from Paris, where she won four more Olympic medals.
The seven-time Olympic gold medalist — who was atop the podium in the team and individual all-around competitions and the vault final, in addition to earning silver in the floor exercise final — supported husband Jonathan Owens at his preseason Bears game last month in Chicago.
Dressed in an Owens-inspired jacket that featured highlights from his past season with the Packers — the Bears’ longstanding rival — Biles embraced the 29-year-old safety at Soldier Field.
