After narrating the gymnastics decision made by her adoptive parents, Adria Biles reveals Simone Biles’ hidden side.

Adria Biles, Simone Biles’ sister, is a lifelong cheerleader. Not only is Adria physically identical to Simone, but she also shares Biles’ passion for gymnastics and has been adopted by Nellie and Ron. Their chuckles and even smiles are exactly the same, making it seem as though you are staring at Simone’s reflection. Seeing Adria in passing is like looking into a funhouse mirror and seeing Simone’s reflection there—her antics and humour are so very alike. Adria recently shared some endearing experiences with her siblings that truly bring out their unique closeness and demonstrate that they are more than simply sisters.

In his latest YouTube podcast, “Simone Biles: Adria Biles on Sisterhood, Paris, and Olympic Pressure,” Chris Osmond welcomed Adria Biles. When he enquired about if their striking similarity had ever led to any classic sisterly arguments, the discussion turned humorous. He said something like, “Since you guys are virtually twins, do you kind of niggle at each other or make a little bit of a tiff?” Adria, who is two years Simone’s junior, smiled back, explaining that although they may appear similar, their relationship is based more on love and support than on competition.

She chuckled at their wardrobe mishaps, describing one incident as “she has so many clothing, you’re not even going to know if it’s mine.” However, she will either offer it to me completely and say, “Here, I’m giving it to you with my full self,” or I will grab it and be like, “Hey, I’m taking your stuff.” After I wear it, she’ll say, “That’s my shirt!” Yes, do we not recall that you gave it to me a week ago, I say. So, grinning, the host enquired, “Does she ever steal any of your stuff?”

Adria chuckled, “She doesn’t accept it, but because she’s so tiny, I’ll give her, like, if something’s too small or whatever.” Hey, I have a shirt, I’ll say, and we end up sharing clothes all the time. I’ll be honest—if I did that to my sister, I most likely would. Adria said she genuinely loves sharing clothes, even if she understands there’s a limit. Sharing clothes feels to her like a love language.

She claimed that she always looks after her Biles’s belongings well and returns them upon request. Adria thinks it a little strange, though, if Biles gives her something with the idea of getting rid of it and then becomes upset when she wears it. Although she always returns everything she borrows, she pointed out that when something is given to her, the dynamic is altered. But Adria Biles told a light-hearted and insightful tale about how her and Simone got started in gymnastics.

Simone Biles and Adria survived the storm with their families at their sides.

Originally, their parents, Ronald and Nellie Biles, forced them into gymnastics in an effort to keep them safe. After all, the girls were flipping about the living room and even doing risky acts like jumping onto couches from railings. After Adria learnt how to flip in their backyard from Simone, the older sister, their parents realised they wanted to provide a safer setting for the kids. “We need to get you people somewhere where you’re not going to die,” Adria remembered them saying. Simone’s skill was soon noticed when, on a nursery field trip, at the age of six, she emulated professional gymnasts beautifully. Adria’s parents soon enrolled her in gymnastics classes as a result of this.

But Adria eventually gave up the sport at the age of 17, making light of the fact that her sister was a constant winner. Later, she went on to work as a dental hygienist and even joined the Shooting Stars, the professional dance team of the Houston Astros. Their parents have always been supportive even though their lives have diverged, albeit there was a period when Nellie wasn’t pleased with Adria and forced her to give up gymnastics. However, things haven’t gone as planned on their journey.

The Biles sisters experienced hardships at a young age due to their birth mother’s addiction. After being taken out of her custody, they were placed in foster care for almost three years until being taken in by Nellie and Ronald Biles, their grandparents. Adria pursued her career in gymnastics, despite her less natural aptitude for the sport. Adria’s love for gymnastics was rekindled when their mother permitted her to rejoin as a birthday present, despite the fact that their mother had originally forced her to quit.

Until high school, Adria was a competitive gymnast; but, with the support of her family, she ultimately made the decision to stop. She is still close to Simone, who trains at the World Champions Centre (WCC), and works there now. Their relationship is still unbreakable, demonstrating the strength of sisterly love and tenacity.
