Simone Biles becomes famous for what she did at the Astros game after throwing out the first pitch

Three weeks after the Summer Games ended, Simone Biles remained just as popular as she did when she wowed the world at the Olympics in Paris. The American gymnast became the most decorated gymnast in history when she won three gold medals in the Olympics in Paris. After a challenging conclusion to the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, in which she was forced to withdraw from multiple events due to a condition known as the “twisties,” which caused her to lose her sense of direction while flying through the air, Biles was able to find some atonement. When Biles threw out the first pitch at the Houston Astros game against the Kansas City Royals on August 30, she was the centre of attention when she returned to the United States. After delivering the ceremonial pitch, Astros first baseman Jon Singleton made an odd request, as reported by Chandler Rome of The Athletic. Rome stated that when Simone Biles ceremoniously threw the first pitch, Jon Singleton “understandably flipped the script and requested her to autograph the baseball for him.” The incident became virally popular, and a video ended up on X.

With a headline slot on the “Gold Over America Tour” with other Team USA gymnasts Jordan Chiles, Jade Carey, and Hezley Rivera, Biles will be in the spotlight for longer.
