Before the Houston Astros’ game against the Kansas City Royals on Friday night, Simone Biles brought her gold medal aura to Minute Maid Park to throw out the first pitch. Biles, who was born and raised in the Houston region, struck Astros infielder Jon Singleton with a right-handed throw that bounced just short of his glove. Overall, a strong first pitch. But Singleton was not going to sit back and watch the occasion pass. He asked Biles to sign the baseball for him to keep as he approached her for a picture. Jordan Chiles, an Olympic medallist who wore an Astros hat and a ‘Space City’ jersey on the pitch, went to the game with Biles. Together, the two gymnasts took home a gold medal from the Paris all-around team competition.
Simone Biles might be the first person to throw the ceremonial first pitch and then give HER autograph on a ball to a player…🤣 pic.twitter.com/Axy6e3IieE

An MLB player rarely leaves a ceremonial first pitch with an autograph to take home. It’s safe to assume that Biles failed the landing once more.
