Olympics Sent Strong Message To Simone Biles

After Simone Biles posted a rather emotional message about her gymnastics career, the official social media account of the Olympics responded to her with a powerful message.

On Tuesday, Biles took to Instagram to share photos of herself with the 11 Olympic medals she has won in her career, including the three golds and one silver she got during the 2024 Paris Games. The 27-year-old gymnastics icon has seven golds and two each of silver and bronze in total.

Biles captioned her post, “6 year old me would be proud” along with teary-eyed, heart and fingers crossed emojis.

Sure enough, it quickly went viral, with friends, fans and other personalities singing praises for the USA gymnastics icon.

The Olympics, for its part, also commented on Biles’ Instagram post and highlighted how impressed they are by her incredible career.

“What a collection!” the Olympics wrote.

It didn’t stop there for the Olympics’ social media team. It also made its own post about Biles’ medal collection and expressed how inspiring she is.

“Simone Biles isn’t just making her 6-year-old self proud—she’s inspiring and filling hearts with pride all over the world,” it added.

Simone Biles deserves all the recognition she’s getting. After all, she is widely considered the GOAT (greatest of all time) of the sport, and she has the accolades to back it up.

Aside from her Olympic silverware, Biles also has 30 World Championship medals. She is already the most decorated gymnast in US history, and it’s hard to see anyone catching up to her accomplishments any time soon.
