Mike Tyson Issues Warning Against “Fraudulent Attempts” Being Made In His Former Brand Name

When Mike Tyson revealed that he would not be renewing his wildly successful podcast Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson this year, it was a sad day for the boxing community. Tyson engaged in wide-ranging, unrestrained, and free-flowing conversations with guests from all walks of life over the course of an amazing 262-episode project.

Fans saw a new Tyson with the podcast, one far different from the “Iron Mike” days. In the middle of a smoke cloud, Tyson addressed his audience with extraordinary empathy, frequently opening up about his own personal tragedies, fostering an atmosphere that encouraged others to share their weaknesses, and imparting his wisdom.

However, he was compelled by other obligations to declare his exit from the program. After its 2019 premiere, Tyson’s honest conversation with American rapper Rick Ross concluded the show. But a serious problem has emerged as con artists attempt to profit from the show’s popularity. Attempts have been made recently to connect with individuals by exploiting the brand’s image.

In his Instagram story, Mike Tyson said, “We’ve learnt that there have been fraudulent attempts to contact individuals about scheduling hotboxing appointments.” Moreover, Tyson made hints that individuals are being contacted via a Gmail account, which has never been a method of communication for the show’s guests. He said, “We would never send a message from a Gmail address.”

Having said that, Tyson asked anyone who had heard of any “fraudulent activity” connected to Hotboxin with Mike Tyson to report it. “Hotboxin’ is not being produced at this time.” He concluded by saying, “Please DM in any instances of fraudulent activity or report on the contact page of miketyson.com.”

It is hoped that Mike Tyson’s parting message would serve as more proof for people to avoid interacting with con artists posing as Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson and sending messages to their Gmail accounts.

While it lasted, it was good!

Beginning in April of this year, Tyson concluded his enthralling podcasting career, whereby he spoke with everyone from his close pals in Hollywood to other boxers, leaving a wealth of unvarnished talks that will strike a chord with millions of listeners.

Tyson encouraged people to follow him on social media to stay up to date on his career endeavours, implying that this was his “next chapter,” in his parting message. As everyone is probably aware, Tyson will be making a comeback to the professional boxing scene on November 15 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, where he will square off against Jake Paul.
