Flying Fijians to work on set-pieces

Flying Fiji Water Tevita Ikanivere, the captain of Fiji, says his team’s next Pacific Nations Cup match will be later this month, and they will be concentrating on their set pieces.

After defeating Manu Samoa 42–16 in the tournament’s opening match yesterday, the team is now leading the series. On September 6, they will play the hosts at Nuku’alofa.

The 24-year-old is certain that the team will return stronger in their second game and expressed pride in what the team accomplished yesterday.

“We have a lot of work ahead of us, particularly in our set-pieces, but we’ll get that fixed and look forward to Tonga in the next two weeks.”

He said the boys put forth a lot of effort to win last night and thinks there is still room for development in the remaining tournament matches.
