Speaking of his competition with the NFL’s “Cheetah,” the Olympic winner boasted a few days ago, calling it “one-sided.” The athlete is now trying to reignite his verbal altercation with the NBA players.
On August 23, GQ Sports’ Instagram handle shared Noah Lyles’ QA series, where the sprinter replied to several questions and comments posted on social media. A few of them came from big names in the sporting world. However, one such comment attracted Noah’s glance, and it had come from Josh Hart.
The New York Knicks star took a dig at Noah by commenting, “Lol na he an Olympic gold medalist. He can talk for life [emoji],” after a fan pledged to stand beside the latter. Yet, the NBA player’s comment did not go well with Noah Lyles. He steadfastly added, “If y’all have to say ‘oh you got me but you won’t give me next time’, I already won”. But surprisingly, the six-time world champion had no idea who Josh Hart was!
Later, when the host told him about the small forward’s identity, Noah looked to be unbothered. Rather, with a cheeky smile on his face, Lyles said, “I appreciate it.”
