Simone Biles shares a sneak peak at progress on Texas mansion after medals-laden trip to Paris Olympics

Fresh off her triumphant performance at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, and now back in Texas with three new medals, the most decorated gymnast of all time has a new focus: the construction of her Texas dream house.

Biles, 27, and her husband, Chicago Bears safety Jonathan Owens, 29, are building their home from the ground up.

Biles has been sharing the home’s progress on her Instagram Stories, and recent developments on the gorgeous residence have her brimming with excitement.

She posted images of some of the rooms complete with the “eyes” emojis.

Kitchen goes for gold

The knock-out kitchen features a tray ceiling, the start of a lovely light fixture, white cabinetry, an eye-catching black and white backsplash, as well as a matching waterfall island and countertops.

Beautiful bath

The black and white palette continues in a large walk-in shower, or possibly a wet room. Two-tone marble slabs line the walls, while smaller tiles cover the floor. A generous niche offers storage space, and a frosted-glass window keeps the area private.

Brown paper on the floor suggests the rest of the flooring is done and is being protected as painting or other work continues.

Enviable closet

The custom closet looks close to completion (can’t argue with her priorities) and features a boutique-like space with open shelving for accessories (including her new Hermès handbag, perhaps).

Glass-front shelves with hanging bars offer space for clothing, and a center island includes drawers, golden handles, and glass cases, which could certainly hold Biles’ many Olympic medals.

Supersized living spaces

Not as far along but promising huge potential is a spacious, two-story room with sliding glass doors and lake views. It appears as if there will be a fireplace along one wall.

Another unfinished space features sliding glass doors and opens to a deck.

One room, possibly a workout space for the athletic couple, shows a high ceiling, a fan light, and large windows.

Biles has previously revealed the two-story build will have an upper level with a game room, home theater, and wet bar. A balcony will overlook the water.

Contemporary living quarters

During construction of their new home, the couple are living in contemporary digs nearby that Biles picked up in 2020. The 4,000-square-foot mansion has four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. It sits on just over an acre.
