Jonathan Owens reveals his stance on Simone Biles going to 2028 Olympics in LA – amid his desire to have kids with the USA gymnastics legend

Despite his intentions to begin a family with the legendary American gymnast Simone Biles, Jonathan Owens, Simone Biles’ husband, maintains he will back his wife should she decide to compete at the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.

Biles’ historic performance in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, when she won three gold medals and one silver, making her the most decorated American gymnast of all time, is still fresh in the memory.

However, the 27-year-old acknowledges that, given her age, there is no assurance that she will compete in the next Olympics in four years.

During an appearance on the TODAY show earlier this week, she also disclosed that her husband of the previous year, Owens, is keen to start a family.

Regarding the NFL player, Biles remarked, “He would have had them yesterday if he could have.”

After the Paris Olympics, Simone Biles officially discusses her future plans story

Owens would still be completely supportive of Biles if she decided to move to Los Angeles in 2028, even if he is eager to prioritise having a family with her.

Jonathan stated in an interview with PEOPLE that he will support “whatever she chooses” and that he will give it his all.

He then on, “I can’t make that decision for her,” in reference to Simone’s possible participation in the upcoming Olympics. “It will rely on her emotional state as there are numerous sacrifices involved.”

Following their meeting three years prior during the Covid-19 pandemic, Owens and Biles exchanged vows in April of 2023.

The pair in love is also getting ready to move into a new house together; their Houston property’s building is almost finished.

While reassuring her that he will support her should she move to Los Angeles in 2028, Owens hinted that Biles might decide it would be better to “concentrate on life” and devote her time to raising their children together.

“If she believes that it’s time to put life first… because being locked in does require a lot of sacrifice and missing out on a lot,” he went on.

Biles isn’t sure if the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris was her last, since her husband Owens, the legendary American gymnast, is eager to have a kid with her.

That’s the one thing she would just need to work out on her own. And like I previously stated, “Man, I’m here to support her 100% in anything she decides to do.”

During the summer Olympics, Biles expressed her annoyance at being asked what comes next, but now that the Games are over, she has opened up about what life may hold in the future.

Owens and the famous gymnast have been talking about the potential of having kids together, but she’s not sure if LA 2028 will be part of her future.

“You just never know, because the next Olympics are right here at home,” she told reporters in Paris. “But I’m getting older and older.”
