LIV Golf star Brooks Koepka gets over Olympics setback on yacht holiday with wife Jena Sims

Despite not being selected for the Olympic Games in Paris this week, Brooks Koepka, the star of LIV Golf, is still celebrating the Olympics with a themed holiday.

Despite having players like Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele, Colin Morikawa, and Wyndham Clark at Le Golf National on their roster, Koepka’s loyalty to LIV Golf has caused him to fall in the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR), which has prevented him from participating in the Paris Open.

Nevertheless, after participating in the most recent LIV tournament at JCB Golf and Country Club in the UK, the captain of Smash GC is spending some downtime in Europe with his spouse Jena Sims.

The pair has been having a blast sailing around Croatia on their yacht, and they even threw their own “2024 Summer Koepka Games,” where Brooks showed off his nationalistic speedos. Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Sims, meanwhile, demonstrated her physical strength with a gymnastics performance that included a boat flip.

Five-time major champion Koepka was also seen with an Olympic ring tattoo on his lower back. Sims posted a picture of the mark with the words “All mine” and a heart emoji. The Koepkas’ European tour has been an exciting journey that has seamlessly fit into Brooks’ hectic schedule.

At the LIV Andalucia event at Valderrama last month, Brooks began his European adventure in Spain by tying for 27th place with golf legends Phil Mickelson and Henrik Stenson, finishing six over par.

A ‘Summer Games’ was staged by the Koepkas.

Koepka travelled to the UK for The Open Championship at Royal Troon for the year’s last major. In challenging conditions on the Scottish shore, the American shot eight over in his four rounds and finished the week tied for 43rd.

He travelled south into England for his final European event of the season, when he led Smash GC at LIV’s new UK base at JCB. The five-time major winner finished the 54-hole round at six under, while his Smash brand narrowly missed a podium finish in the team competition by finishing in fourth place.

Though it’s known that Koepka withdrew his name from candidacy for Olympic qualification earlier this year, he was unable to complete four events in Paris this week. Koepka notified the International Golf Federation that he will not be playing, per a March story published by ElPeriodiGolf
