Lomani hopes to do it again

Olympic athlete Kolora Lomani intends to repeat the feat in four years if given the chance.

Before qualifying for the Olympic Games in Paris, the 25-year-old joined the Fijiana 7s in May.

In addition to playing for Fiji in the postponed 2021 Rugby World Cup in September 2022, Lomani was a member of the Fijian Drua Women team that won the Super W title in 2022.

She claims that after the Olympics, she has more plans.

“Every opportunity counts, and I’ll seize whatever comes my way. If this one arises again, I’ll absolutely seize it again with the 7s deal, but I also have plans overseas with 15s and Super W next year.”

Lomani was an ACT Brumbies Super Rugby Women’s rugby player as well.

On Sunday, the Fijiana 7s, who placed 12th in the Olympics, will travel home with the Fiji 7s team.
