The Fiji 7s’ next task

Australia, according to Fiji 7s coach Osea Kolinisau, poses a threat to their Olympic Games campaign, thus they will need to be as cautious as they were against Ireland in the quarterfinal.

Australia visited Fiji a few months ago to play a few games against the national team.

Kolinisau argues that the Australian team is unique and impressive because they had defeated Argentina 22–14 in pool play and are also undefeated in Paris.

I’ve watched Australia play, and they’re a pretty good side. They’ve made four or five changes from the team we saw in Lautoka, but we’ll go back tonight, get down with the boys, and we’ll look over our games tomorrow to make sure we’re prepared to play Australia.

Tomorrow at two in the morning, the two teams will play in the second semi-final.

At 1:30 am, South Africa plays the hosts, France, in the first semi-final.

Tomorrow, the final will take place at 5:45 a.m.
